Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge brings the magic of Africa to the heart of Orlando. Set on a sprawling 43-acre wildlife reserve, the resort is designed to resemble an African village, complete with authentic artefacts, thatched ceilings, and a grand mud fireplace in the main lobby—all to immerse you in the vibrant spirit of the African landscape. Adding to the experience, over 30 species of wildlife roam the lush tropical savannas, creating an unforgettable backdrop.

Guests can observe zebras, gazelles, and flamingos, catch glimpses of the elusive white-bearded wildebeest, or look up to marvel at the giraffes.

After exploring the wildlife, dive into authentic African flavours at two award-winning restaurants: Jiko – The Cooking Place, and Boma – Flavors of Africa. For relaxation, the expansive Uzima pool offers 11,000 square feet of zero-depth entry water, complete with a thrilling 67-foot-long slide.

The lodge also provides a range of activities for younger guests, including a wading pool, animal-themed programs, a 24-hour playground, and a high-tech game room. In the evening, children can explore the supervised activity centre, giving adults a chance to enjoy a quiet night out.
