Barbados Wedding Legal Requirements

Minimum age 18 years old.
Minimum stay in Barbados prior to marriage is 1 working day. 
Documents Required for Weddings in Barbados. 
A valid UK passport, with at least 6 months after your return date to UK before expiry. 
Your original birth certificate, showing both parents' names. (If you were adopted, the original copy of your adoption certificate) If divorced, the original document of your Decree Absolute, If you are a widow or widower, the original copy of your partner's death certificate and marriage certificate.

Please note: you will need to visit the Ministry of Home Affairs in Bridgetown, Barbados to apply for your marriage licence. All original documents must be taken with you when you travel.
